Louis

Collaboration lies at the heart of Louis’ music-making: since his mid-teens, he has accompanied instrumental and vocal performances, auditions, competitive festivals, lessons, and diploma-level performance exams, cultivating keen ears for a variety of musical genres
and strong score-reading skills. This carried over into his studentship at the Royal Northern College of Music, where the addition of keyboard chair responsibilities in many orchestral and operatic projects further honed his musicianship skills and led to several prizes in collaborative piano and performances across major venues in the UK.

As a performer, Louis is interested in understanding historical performance practices to bring fresh perspectives to contemporary performances. As a teacher, he has a deep interest in the psychological aspects of learning and performance, including musical literacy, memorisation, practice techniques, and the
optimisation of personal performance.
